Prepare for University

The International Study Centre provides a supportive learning environment on a safe and peaceful campus. Our experienced and helpful teachers will help you learn and build confidence so that you can successfully go on to study your chosen degree.

Pathway programmes introduce you to the style of teaching that you will experience at Keele University. You will participate in tutorials, seminars and lectures so that you are well prepared for your degree studies.

Beautiful campus

As a student at the International Study Centre you will be a part of Keele University's welcoming student community. The safe and beautiful 600-acre campus has everything you need, including teaching buildings, student accommodation, shops, cafés and restaurants. You are surrounded by nature at Keele University which provides a unique environment to flourish in.

Clubs and societies

Joining a society is a great way to share your interests, make new friends and have fun. You can choose from over 100 societies, including activity-based clubs like archery, mountaineering and cycling to language clubs, religion-based societies and arts clubs.

Fun and entertainment

Keele University Students' Union is the perfect place to have fun and spend time with your friends. The student union was ranked in the top 10 by WhatsUni Student Choice Awards, 2016. There is a fantastic line-up of entertainment, including live music, weekly dance nights and events such as the Freshers’ Ball and Winterfest Christmas Party.

Keele University has achieved consistently high rankings over the past 10 years. In 2018, it was ranked #1 in England for student satisfaction (National Student Survey). The survey asked 320,000 students in the UK about a number of factors in their university experience, including facilities, academic support, teaching quality and campus community.
