Keele University is 1st for graduate employability in the UK, according to the recently published Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey.

The DLHE survey, which asked leavers from higher education in 2014/15 what they were doing six months after graduation, revealed that 97.5% of graduates were in employment and/or further study six months after graduating.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Trevor McMillan, commented:: “This is excellent news for Keele University. We aim to give our students a broad-based education that integrates knowledge, skills and attitudes that are clearly valued by employers in all areas. As a research led university balancing academic excellence with the broader student experience, we are delighted to be in a leading position in graduate employment.

“As the university sector gives greater focus to teaching standards and value for students, this table shows that the combination of being a smaller university, single campus based and research active, enables Keele to be a leading higher education provider.”
